WHO ARE WE?

The story starts in the six es. At the me, Radio Ocean was the mari me branch of TRT (Telecommunica ons Radioélectriques et Téléphoniques) of PHILIPS, exclusive distributor of FURUNO products.

In 1990 FURUNO Japan buys out its French distributor Radio Ocean to create its subsidiary FURUNO FRANCE.

This plotter has the advantage to combine an integrated GPS antenna and a 5’’ color plotter all in one.

No antenna cable is needed, an ingenious bracket is equipped with waterproof connec-tors powering the whole.

3 seconds only are necessary to disconnect the unit when you need to take it off.

Security being a must, the OCHART5 can receive the AIS targets from a separate AIS receiver like the VHF/DSC Radio Ocean RO6800AIS.

WindyPlug is a BaroPlug with an interfece to connect any of our Ultrasonic Wind Sensors to a NMEA2000 system. It features a MICRO C male plug to connect directly to the NMEA2000 bus. This is a Plug and Play device: Just install the sensor or the NMEA system's backbone to read atmospheric pressure, wind speed, wind angle, wind temperature. WindyPlug weights 35g and measures 13 cm long for less than 2 cm diameter. The interface connects to the end CV7, CV7-V or CV7-C standard cable.
