Thank you Suzanne Potter The 9th annual Potters Bowl took on a special meaning this year as it was dedicated to

the late Suzanne Potter who passed on August 26th. As the founder and 9 year

chairperson of the fundraiser, Suzanne was devoted to making this event a success.

Known for her vivacious energy, bold and outgoing spirit, Suzanne worked tirelessly

throughout the year to ensure success the first Sunday in November. Whether she waspersistently looking for the next ticket sale, scouring the community for a sponsorship, or

recruiting volunteers for the event, she always had a smile on her face and a quick step in

    her walk!

Suzanne had volunteered for more than 10 years at the Senior Center, where she

received the Volunteer of the Month Award, and most recently was awarded the

Exemplary Service Award at the 2012 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.

Suzanne will be greatly missed by many at Berkeley Senior Services and throughout the

    community.
