Happenings"INSIDE-OUT" SUNDAY: Starting Sunday, June 30th, every 5th Sunday will be an “Inside-Out” Sunday. We will have a combined service at 10am on those Sundays, followed by an activity or opportunity intended to help us live our faith from the “Inside-Out”. After each “Inside-Out” experience, we will share a meal together and talk about what God is doing in and through us, both as individuals and as a Church. Our first “Inside-Out” Sunday will be June 30th. We will have one, combined worship service at 10am, a time of preparation/logistics from 11-11:30am, from 11:30-1pm we will go out in teams to share the love of Jesus with our community, concluding with a shared lunch and testimony time from 1-2pm. Please plan to join us (friends are welcome, too). Children of all ages are encouraged to attend with their families. Please wear regular dress, as there will not be manual labor involved in this activity. Comfortable walking shoes may be helpful. For those with limited mobility, we will provide an opportunity at the church to still participate in “Inside-Out”. Hope to see you there."PRAYER LAB" BREAKFASTS: We are offering two “Prayer Lab” breakfasts this summer. These will be a time of fellowship, teaching, and prayer. They will be on Saturday, July 20th and Saturday, August 24th from 9-10am in the Mark House. We will offer continental breakfast and fellowship time to begin, then a time of teaching on different methods for praying, concluding with an experiential prayer time. SUMMER PRAYER TIMES: For the summer, we will be offering two mid-week prayer times. These times will begin Tuesday, June 11th at 8am and Wednesday, June 12th at 1:15pm. The prayer times will last approximately half an hour and will be a guided time of prayer for Grace UMC, the leadership, and the congregation. If you feel led to fast for the meal occurring during the prayer time, please do so. Fasting often provides a more focused and meaningful time of prayer for the one who is fasting. We will meet at the front of the Sanctuary on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer.GRACE NOTES: The Summer "Grace Notes" was mailed on May 31st. If you haven't received yours yet, it should be coming soon.CHURCH VOICEMAIL: We are still working to fix the church voice-mail after storm damage. Until it is fixed, please call back again (during office hours). If you do not get an answer, please email us at [email protected]. You may also call, text, or leave a message on any of our pastors' cell phones. ELEVATOR UPDATE: We are waiting for a part to be built for our elevator, which is coming from overseas. The elevator should be back in working order some time in June.RECEPTION FOR JEANNE SWIFT: Sunday, July 14th, following the 11am service, we will have a cake and punch reception and hymn sing to honor Jeanne. Due to eyesight problems and other health issues, she is no longer able to play hymns before our traditional service (as she has done for years). Let's celebrate her many years of ministry at Grace. Feel free to bring a card, gift, or just your presence. Let's try to keep this a surprise for Jeanne.YOUTH BAKE SALE: Sunday morning, June 9, before and after both services. If you like sweets, come prepared to purchase some tasty treats and support our youth.2nd ANNUAL SUMMER BOOK CLUB: Handouts are on the Welcome Center with more information about dates and book topics. Books are also available at the Welcome Center.GALATIANS "FREEDOM IN CHRIST" STUDY: Join us at 10am on Sundays in the Library/Conference Room (behind the Sanctuary) to discuss each Sunday's Scripture passage in more depth. Read Galatians, chapter 5 before next Sunday to gain more insight into the sermon/study.

Pastors Jamie, Joe, and Tina will be attending the West Ohio Annual Conference this week (June 2nd through June 8th) in Lakeside, Ohio.
