straight paths for your feet, that what is lame may not be dis-
jointed but healed. — Hebrews 12:12-13
Lord, I place before You all my work this day. I give you every
small act and every heavy burden. I surrender all to You, dear
Lord, and make them my holy sacrifice to You. Use me as Your
martyr of love this day and every day so as to become a greater
instrument of Your glory and the upbuilding of Your
Church. Jesus, I trust in You.

King’s Veritas Lecture Series The Veritas Series for Faith and Culture endeavors to foster learn-
ing and dialogue by gathering our community together, as we seek
to live lives of faith and justice. The word veritas comes from the
Latin word meaning truth. It is taken directly from the College mot-
to: “Christus est Via, Veritas et Vita” (Christ is the Way, the Truth
and the Life). The theme of this year’s series, RENEWAL,
is drawn from the prophecy of Isaiah. In Isaiah 40:31, the prophet
declares, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their
strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not
grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” In the midst of the
many challenges facing our nation and our communities of faith,
we will be presented with opportunities to consider and evaluate
where we find our hope and our direction for the future.
The first talk is titled “The Future of Truth and Reconciliation” and
will be presented by Senator Murray Sinclair on September 26 at 7
pm. As always, admission and parking are free, and facilities are
wheelchair accessible.
For a complete list of the 2019-2020 Veritas series, please visit

All Saints Parish Ministry Fair & Coffee Weekend
Sunday, September 15th after all the weekend Masses
in the parish centre.
You are cordially invited to the parish centre after all Masses
the weekend of September 15th, not only for a coffee but to
explore the many Ministries and Committees that we have in
place at All Saints Parish. Find out what they do and what
they are all about. This will give you the opportunity to think
about which Ministry you would like to participate in to share
your time, talent and treasure.
Each Ministry will have a table (booth) set up with the infor-
mation about the ministry.
These are just a few of the many ministries in
which you can serve.
Mass Online Did you know that Mass is live-streamed every weekend in the Dio-
cese of London? Courtesy of St. George Parish, London, Mass is
available at www.youtube.com/user/sgtvlondon. Online viewing is
a great option for those who are unable to attend Mass for a legiti-
mate reason such as illness. And if you know someone who is
“interested” in the Catholic Church but not quite ready to make the
leap, this may be an easy introduction.

after morning Mass every Wednesday. Everyone welcome!
Our Lady of Fatima
Wednesday, August 28 at 7pm in the parish office, the
Committee of Our Lady of Fatima will be meeting to dis-
cuss the feast for this October. Anyone one who is inter-
ested in joining this committee is very welcome to attend.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
If Jesus were actually visible in church, everyone would run to welcome him, but he remains
hidden in the Sacred Host under the appearance of bread, because he is calling us to faith that
we may come to him in humility, and it is our duty to honour and adore the Blessed Host. He is
really there!
The specific way that Jesus asks you to love him in return is to spend one quiet hour with him in
the Blessed Sacrament. It is very important that Jesus is never left alone during Adoration. In
order to have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament it is crucial that you sign up for your hour to
assure that someone (2-3 people) will always be present with Jesus during Adoration.
"Could you not watch one hour with me?"
Every Friday, with the exception of the first Friday of the month, Adoration will be from
9am-12noon.
The next Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be on Friday, September 6th following
the morning Mass to 4pm.
ele no Santíssimo Sacramento.
Todas Sexta-feiras, menos a primeira Sexta-feira do mês, Adoração será das 9am-meio
dia.
A próxima Adoração ao Santíssimo Sacramento será Sexta-feira 7 de Setembro seguindo a
Missa até 4pm.
