The award was presented at the annual MillerCoors Distributor Convention held March 25-26 in San Diego. To be eligible, recipients must have acquired at least 30 years of service as a Miller or Coors distributor; invested in and grown their MillerCoors business over those years; demonstrated a passion for the beer business and MillerCoors portfolio of brands, and garnered the respect of their peers. “MillerCoors Legends are the heart and soul of this business,” said Long when introducing Nichols, along with one other MillerCoors Legend recipient. “Each of these Legends traveled a different path to get to where they are today, but they all have one thing in common … they define success in the beer business.” “This recognition is very humbling and is a reflection on the entire High Country Beverage team,” said Dave. “Each team member works hard, has a passion for selling great beers and supporting our local communities.” In addition to being an active company leader, Dave is an active leader in his community. He consistently initiates company programs to support national and regional non-profit organizations including St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research Hospital, the American Red Cross, the United Way, Foothills Gateway and The National MS Society, among many others.
