Pr eheat oven t o 350 degr ees. 2. On a clean surf ace, spr inkle fl our and place do ugh flat . Use some of the fl our on a rolli ng pin and roll dough into a long rectangle about 1/8 th  inch thick. 3. Brush dough wit h me lt ed bu tte r . 4. Sprink le cinna mon and sugar ov er dough evenl y . If you want a fil led cake, spr ead the fil ling over the dough except for 1 inch away from one of the long edges of the rectangle. 5. Start ing on t he long side, roll d ough and p ress t o clos e the se am. 6. On a greas ed sheet p an, tran sfer do ugh and arr ange in th e form of o val. Put o ne of the en ds into the other and seal. 7. Bake cover ed with foi l for 13 minut es and uncove red til it r ises an d golden brown, about 10-1 5 more minutes. Brush with leftover melted butter. 8. Let coo l and br ush with ici ng. Spr inkle with alternating c olors . King Cake Icing by Kristi Tutt 1 small can, sweetened condensed milk ½ cup sifted powdered sugar ½ Tbsp vanilla extract (the nicer brand) 1 Tbsp orange juice 2 Tbsp melted butter ¼ cup milk, depending on desired co nsistency 1. Sif t po wder ed s ugar int o a bowl . 2. Add all t he other i ngredi ents ex cept mi lk and whi sk unti l mixe d well. 3. Add mil k 1 Tbs p at a t ime until desired c onsis tency .

    over the dough except for 1 inch away from one of the long edges of the rectangle.5. Starting on the long side, roll dough and press to close the seam.6. On a greased sheet pan, transfer dough and arrange in the form of oval. Put one of the ends into

    the other and seal.7. Bake covered with foil for 13 minutes and uncovered til it rises and golden brown, about 10-15

    more minutes. Brush with leftover melted butter.8. Let cool and brush with icing. Sprinkle with alternating colors.

    1. Sift powdered sugar into a bowl.2. Add all the other ingredients except milk and whisk until mixed well.3. Add milk 1 Tbsp at a time until desired consistency.
