to our SchoolThe galleries include items that are designed to coordinate with the overall look of your document. You can use these galleries to insert tables, headers, footers, lists, cover pages, and other document building blocks. When you create pictures, charts, or diagrams, they also coordinate with your current document look.

You can easily change the formatting of selected text in the document text by choosing a look for the selected text from the Quick Styles gallery on the Home tab. You can also format text directly by using the other controls on the Home tab. Most controls offer a choice of using the look from the current theme or using a format that you specify directly.

To change the overall look of your document, choose new Theme elements on the Page Layout tab. To change the looks available in the Quick Style gallery, use the Change Current Quick Style Set command. Both the Themes gallery and the Quick Styles gallery provide reset commands so that you can always restore the look of your document to the original contained in your current template.

Our consistently strong performance in comparative national data measures demonstrates that we meet our high expectations for students in terms of examination outcomes. These expectations are communicated to our students from the moment they start in Year 7.

Students are set clear and challenging targets, based on key progress measures, which form the basis of our assessment and recording system. Both students and their parents are kept well-informed about current performance and what needs to happen for further progress to be made and for them to achieve their learning goals. Our outcomes are outstanding and we are committed to keeping them that way for each new cohort of students we welcome at Ninestiles.

ProvisionThe provision of a broad and balanced 21st Century curriculum underpins the excellent outcomes we achieve. Our curriculum is flexible in response to individual need yet maintains a core rigour. We know that literacy and numeracy are key drivers in achievement both at school and beyond but we also understand the need for specialist teachers teaching their subject with passion. The two are combined at Ninestiles to ensure that students leave us well-equipped for life in further education, training or employment. We also know that extra-curricular provision can offer students so much beyond the classroom experience and this is why we have a varied and interesting extra-curricular timetable which enhances both our students’ skills and enjoyment.

SupportEvery child matters at Ninestiles. Support to ensure achievement comes in a variety of ways - from dedicated form tutors, membership of a college and the support of peers in vertical tutor groups to dedicated support services for student welfare and inclusion. We operate an ‘open door’ policy and cherish the strong relationships we have with our parents and carers.
