Little Phumzile had only one defence against greedy kids... a phrase created to ensure that no one dug into her shwam-shwams or kip-kips, or anything she spent iFybob on... “NIKS MAPHA!” she’d yell, and with that, was an understanding that sharing was NOT an option...

Oh but alas, there would naturally be a counteracitve phrase for the greedy ones... “MAPHA!” they’d swiftly say, catching her off-guard and she’d be left with no option but to share...

SkipazByRu is a nostalgic, celebratory journey of life in South Africa (main target market being in Jozi and surrounding areas).

This T-shir t line is introduced by the MAPHA & NIKS MAPHA designs...

Although there is a very strong tongue-in-cheek and quirky vibe, I would

like to market the terms and phrases used on the t-shir t designs as positive messages for the youth.

The phrase “Niks Mapha:“ for example, could be used as a message of self respect and preservation esp. for young women... Subtle innuendo towards not being “easy” and respecting one’s body in this age of casual sex and promiscuity... {a play on context}
