ARC Landscape Standards

These Landscape Standards in Islesworth have been established by the Board of Directors.

2. Areas along fences, houses, and any standing objects should be maintained at the same height as the existing lawn.

3. Palm Trees, shrubs and other trees must be fertilized to maintain a green and healthy appearance at all times. Dead or dying fronds and branches shall be removed.

4. All shrub and tree beds shall be properly maintained and kept free of weeds. Mulch is encouraged and should be replaced one time per year and kept at a depth of two inches.

Our Neighborhood Playground

Our playground is over twenty-two years old. Commercial playgrounds like ours have a life span of fifteen to twenty years. One of the many reasons for this is the advance-ment in safety standards of play structures.

Taking the safety of our children seriously, the Board has moved in the direction of replacing the playground with something newer and safer. This will improve the look of the park and increase play value for our youngest neighbors.

If you would like to be involved in choosing a new playground, please contact Julia Garcia at [email protected].
