Year 3 & 4 Dog’s Trust Talk On 15th October the Dog’s Trust came in to visit Years 3 and 4 to talk about the importance of caring for a dog. The children also had the chance to groom a toy dog and demonstrate to the other children how to look after the dog and identify a dogs needs. The children all had a wonderful morning and were extremely well behaved. The lady from the Dog’s Trust commented—‘I would like to thank you, your colleagues and especially Year Three and Four at Lapal Primary School for making my visit to your school yesterday so enjoyable – the children were a pleasure to talk to! I hope they enjoyed themselves and have remembered everything they learnt about staying safe around dogs and what a dog needs to be happy and healthy.’ Well done Year 3 and 4.

EYFS Bear Factory Visits For the past two weeks our Foundation Stage have been on trips to Merry Hill. The children have had the chance to travel on the bus, visit the bear factory in order to make bears for each key worker group, and visit the Quest sensory play area. The children all had a wonderful time!
