“Oh my god! Can't believe I've got my 1073LB! Wow, it's a stunning sensation for me because Neve products have always been among my favourite gears! I am firmly convinced that the top notch quality of AMS Neve products has positively influenced and marked all the best artistic creations of my career, definitely. As a professional guitarist and as a producer, too, I'm totally in love with AMS Neve’s construction philosophy. Thanks to Neve, incredible results have alreadyalready been achieved during harp and drum rec sessions at Teatro delle Voci of Treviso (one of the best main studios in Europe) and the 1073LB has helped to push our final quality sound limit! You can trust me when I say that all the guys working at Teatro delle Voci have been impressed by AMS Neve’s easiness to touch astonishing sound craft levels. So AMS Neve, keep on making divine sound machines and keep on making my job easier and better.

Oh hey there!

The Canal was mixed on a Neve DFC Gemini at Dublin based Egg Post Production. Patrick Drummond, a Hollywood veteran sound supervisor led the team, with Aza Hand creating the immense sound design and Colm Mullaly crafting the atmospheres, FX and Foley.

All Dialogue, Foley and Fx where premixed on the Neve DFC using on board EQ and Dynamics with the aid of a TC 6000 reverb unit. The entire 5.1 final mix was created by Aza Hand on the DFC using 12 stereo Music stems provided by the composer.

Sound designer/mixer, Aza Hand stated, "The Neve DFC is an outstanding console. The EQ and Dynamics are precise and powerful and the automation and visual feedback are second to none.

TheThe extremely smooth response of the fader's far surpass the DAW equivalent and working on a console like this removes the technical obstacles between you and the sound and really allows creativity to flourish. The Neve DFC is the heart of our mixing stage here at EGG.”
