(5th OCT 2017)
On 5th Oct.2017MITCOM Project & Construction
Management student’s visited to Rohan Builder’s
Group is a construction and real-estate company
with innovation at its core. Founded in 1993, it
aimed at building a healthier lifestyle for the city-
dwellers and greater sustainability for the eco-
system. They have been awarded the prestigious
DA2+ rating consistently for the last 7 years by
CRISIL, which is India’s leading credit rating
institution.
In Today’s scenario, Time and Quality are two
major aspects that can affect the cost of the
project vigorously. Indian Construction is known
for its use of Conventional/Typical Formwork
System and has not adapted advanced formwork
system in RCC works. Formwork constitutes 30% of the cost and 60% of the time in concrete construction and thus in India, Technology like “Tunnel Form Technology” is introduced by Rohan Builders due to time constraints and diverse accuracy in construction works.
