Next year will see changes to the school staffing and classroom organisation. We are planning for the introduction of two e- Learning classrooms for students of year 2 to year 6. By 2014 we will have a full, up to date, wireless system operational which will continue to develop the introduction of new technologies and teaching styles. The two e-Learning rooms will be covering and be involved in all other class curriculum programmes, however, with use of computers, ipads and chrome books for students to use as tools in their learning. Students will have to learn to manage; websites, file documents, find files, share files and have opportunities to work at home and school on inquiries. My aim is to work through organisational and technical difficulties in 2014, so that in 2015 more classrooms can utilise e- Learning methods as we prepare children for the future. The rest of the school organisation is for 4 senior year 5/6, 4 middle year 3/4 and 4 junior year 1/2 and reception rooms. These rooms will have the same or greater use of computers and ipads as they have had this year.
