THE MARK OF RECYCLING
Recycling is the process by which reused
partially or totally anything is direct or indirect
result of human activity, which is in a form that
is no longer good for humans. In this process
usually waste is converted into raw materials
from which new goods are produced.
RECYCLING WHAT?
Recycling reduces the consumption of raw materials and energy use and therefore greenhouse gas emissions.
Recycling is a key concept of modern waste management. Recyclable materials, also called "recyclables" or "recyclates", may originate from many sources, including homes, public services and industries.
They include glass, paper, aluminum and other metals such as copper and iron, asphalt, textiles and plastics. The electrical and electronic equipment should be recycled, not only because putting them in landfills has an impact on the environment but also because harms our health.
BENEFITS OF RECYCLING
The history of recycling began in the Bronze Age. During that era people melted metal objects so that they could produce new products. The situation changed with the rapid progress of the industry that made recycling more difficult. In 1970 at a conference on recycling logo they decided to be labelled as recyclable products.
