Ready, Set, Learn….

If you are a parent of a 3 or 4 year old child, or have a neighbour or a friend

with a 3 or 4 year old, please see and/or pass on the following invitation to

come to a morning of reading, stories and fun at École Doncaster on Thursday,

January 26th from 9:30 am. to 11:00 am.

This is an ‘Open House’ where you and your child will have an opportunity to

have a tour of École Doncaster and be actively involved in literacy, numeracy

and healthy living activities! Refreshments and informational packages will be available.

Thank you for all your donations to our Christmas ham-

pers. Our big red sleigh over-

flowed through the hallway and

into the office with food and

toys that have gone to the Mus-

tard Seed Society to help

brighten the Christmases of

many families and

individuals. Their holidays will

be a littlebrighter

because of your

generosity.

Thank-you Mme Mills for or-

ganizing the Hamper drive!

Holiday

Concert

Congratulations to our inter-

mediate students in divisions 1

through 8 for their fantastic per-

formances at the Holiday con-

cert. It was a wonderful mix of

talented singing and humour in

front of justifiably proud families!

Thank you to Ms. Coralee John-

son along with the rest of the

Doncaster staff for their extra

efforts and time. It was wonder-

ful to finish the term singing,

dancing, and acting for our fami-

lies.

Special thanks to our grade 5

helpers who did a terrific job

keeping the concert flowing!!

A NOTE FROM THE MUSIC

TEACHER TO PARENTS

If you video tapped either performance of the Winter Concert (Div.’s 1 –8), and would be willing to lend it to Mrs. Johnson our Music teacher, she would love to be able to show those students.

Please contact the office and we will pass on the message to her.

Thanks and have a great holiday break!!
