We had a great role up of fathers and grandfathers and they were all very well served with hot bacon and egg rolls and coffee or tea. The team worked very efficiently and special thanks to Michael Gaskin for setting up and packing up this morning. Great job to all the ladies / mums for all their efforts. Happy Fathers Day for last Sunday to all our dads. A big congratulations to the Keulen family (Lachlan - Kinder) who won the Father's Day raffle . Yours in Christ Kathy Gaskin Principal

Extend OSHC at St Joseph’s Primary School

Fortnightly recap The children this fortnight have enjoyed playing outside with games such as markers up, red rover cross over and silent ball. The children have also had fun doing craft and making self portraits using natural materials from around the school. To make these we used items including sticks, rocks, grass, leaves, flowers and dirt. You can pay online or directly to the photographer on the day. No orders go through the office. If you do pay with cash please ensure it is with the exact money as they will be unable to give out change.

29th August 2018 Dear Parents The St Joseph’s Primary School Band will be participating in the Wagga Wagga City Eisteddfod in the Senior/Junior Percussion Band Untuned section. This session is being held on Thursday 6th September at Joyes Hall, Charles Sturt University, Pine Gully Road, Wagga and begins at 9.30am. The St Joseph’s Primary Choir, Mass Choir and infants classes will be participating in the Wagga Wagga City Eisteddfod on Friday 7th September. This session is also held at Joyes Hall and begins at 9.30am. Travel on both days will be by Allen’s bus service. The cost of this will be covered by the school, there will be no charge for the children to attend the Eisteddfod. Below is the Eisteddfod Program with approximate session start times for your information. All parents, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Entry to Wagga Eisteddfod events in previous years has been $5/adults, $3/concession. Children and competitors are free. Children need to wear their winter school uniform on both days of the Eisteddfod, not sports uniform as they usually do on Friday.
