Christmas has arrived at William Barcroft. Our entrance display is up and all of our children have been busy mak-

ing decorations based on our nativity theme.

This week’s Reading totals

Well done to all those readers once again for making sure your 3 reads are in! This week we have 6 clas-

ses who have achieved 100% - so well done! It’s great to see that so many classes have well over 80% of

children reading at least 3 times. If your child is absent then unfortunately they cannot be counted in the

three reads. The % this week show that those who haven’t reached 100% is because children haven’t

Outdoor Clothing

As the weather is getting colder, it is Important

that children bring warm clothing such as coats

and footwear. This also applies to PE as well.

Children need to be appropriately dressed for

outdoor games and this can be a tracksuit or

additional layers of jogging bottoms and jump-

ers. Thank you.

Christmas reminders…

Our pantomime is fast approaching. This year we are visiting the Parkway Cinema for the showing of

Cinderella. Thank you to all those of you who have shown an interest so far and for getting the pay-

ments in to the office. Could you please ensure all payments are received at the very latest by 7th De-

cember as we need to confirm numbers and organise coaches.

Christmas Dress-up and lunch...

Our school Christmas Dinner is on the 18th December. All children are welcome to have a lunch, so if

your child is usually packed lunch then please pay £2.20 at the office to book your child’s Christmas Din-

ner. Children who are usually dinners will automatically have a Christmas lunch. This is also the day of

our Nativity themed ‘dress-up’ day where children can dress in anything Nativity related.

Rewrite the Stars

This year’s drama production is called Rewrite

the Stars and has been written by Mrs Shearer.

Tickets will be on sale from Monday 3rd Decem-

ber at a cost of £2:00
