NEWS RELEASE 16 January 2014 TCA ASSET MANAGEMENT SA SHORTLISTED FOR THE WEALTHBRIEFING SWITZERLAND & LIECHTENSTEIN AWARDS 2014 TCA Asset Management SA, one of the Switzerland’s foremost External Asset Managers has been shortlisted for the WealthBriefing Switzerland & Liechtenstein Awards. Showcasing ‘best of breed’ providers in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities, the awards were designed to recognise companies, teams and individuals which the prestigious panel of judges deemed to have ‘demonstrated innov ation and excellence during 2013. Commenting on the firm’s shortlisting, Mr Ludovic Bonnamour, Chief Investment Officer, TCA Asset Management SA said: "We are delighted to have been shortlisted for these prestigious awards. It is a great honour to be recognised in the shortlist and this is testament to the hard work that the team have put in over the last 12 months.” ClearView Financial Media’s Managing Director, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations to the shortlisted firms. He said: “The firms who have been shortlisted in these inaugural awards are all worthy competitors, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations. These awards are judged solely on the basis of entrants’ submissions and their response to a number of specific questions, which had to be answered focusing on the client experience, not quantitative performance metrics. That is a unique, and I believe, compelling feature. These awards will recognise the very best operators in the private client industry, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process - such that the awards truly reflect excellence in wealth management. Our aim is to make these annual Awards one of the brightest, and keenly contested highlights in the wealth management calendar.” Winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner which will be held in Geneva on 3 April 2014 at The Hotel President Wilson. - ENDS -

JUDGING PROCESS

The 2014 awards programme was focused around three main category groupings: experts (individuals and teams), products and services for wealth managers and clients, and institutions of all sizes and types for the European market.

Independence, integrity and genuine insight were the watchwords of the judging process with the judging panels made up of some of the industry’s top trusted advisors and bankers.

The judging took place in two parts: a meeting was con-vened to identify a shortlist from the hundreds of entries received for these inaugural awards. This was followed by a round table discussion to agree the winner of each category.

The judges were split into groups, dependent on their industry; so trusted advisors were responsible for judging the private banking categories and private bankers judged the trusted advisor categories. This was to ensure that commercially sensitive information was kept confidential and conflicts of interest were avoided.
