Presidents Message ____________________________________________Greetings, chapter members!

Happy Holidays! As this year comes to a close, let us take some time to reflecton the achievements our chapter has accomplished. It was a busy year indeedhaving successfully completed all our signature projects while taking on new

endeavors. We all deserve a pat on the back for a job well done!

So lets take some time to bask in the glory of the Year of the Tiger. Speaking of glory, congratulations to Anthony The Hanshin Tiger Sato for successfullycompleting the Honolulu Marathon this past weekend.

He was cheered on by the 10 plus HCJ volunteers that came out early Sunday morning to assist with the startingine.

If you were lucky, you got to see Ken Sleep first, then direct traffic Sum or Melanie This sure beats a Togaarty Wong directing the buses and racers to the right places.

HCJ is also proud to host the 1st Statewide Hawaii Jaycees Christmas Party at Hee Hing Restaurant on Dec. 17. If ou havent signed up, you still have a chance to show up at the door. Casino nite, dinner and door prizes are justome of the reasons to attend! Lets enjoy each others company in the true spirit of Christmas and celebrate the year-nd. And who knows, we might just get a visit from jolly ole St. Fichtman if things go as planned

In closing, thanks to all the chapter members and this years Board of Directors for making this year a successfulnd memorable one. It is with your help and selfless dedication to teamwork that we madeand will continue to

makegreat things happen. Congratulations to President-Elect Sato and the 2011 Board of Directors, all of whommake up an outstanding team of leaders. I look forward to continue serving as your Chairman and ushering in aromising new year!
