The HouseDesigned by Sir Christopher Wren, this graceful country house epitomises the Georgian “Age of Elegance”. Its beautifully restored interior presents Robert Adam at his very best.

Newby Hall is full of treasures for the art lover, from the unique Gobelins tapestries to some of Chippendale’s finest furniture and one of the UK’s largest private collections of ancient Roman Statues.

The GardensNewby’s 25 acres of gardens, created in the early 1920s continue to evolve and have made a major contribution to 20th century gardening.

Over the last four years the gardening team have completely redesigned and replanted the double herbaceous borders in a modern and harmonious style. Other highlights include a rock garden, an autumn garden, a water garden and the National Collection of CORNUS (dogwoods). Quite simply, an experience that no garden-lover should miss.
