ELECTRICITY: 48 square kilometers of collectors located in the sunniest regions of NewZealand produce 1.06 million metric tons of hydrogen from 9.54 million kilo-liters of desaltedsea water. This hydrogen fuels New Zealand’s 8.86 GWe thermal plants producing zeroemissions and zeroing out coal use and carbon dioxide production at these power plants.
SYNFUEL: 34 square kilometers of collectors produce 0.696 million metric tons of hydrogen
from 6.27 million kilo-liters of desalted sea water. This hydrogen converts the nation’s coalproduction to 77,800 barrels of oil per day.
HYDROGEN FUEL: 22 square kilometers of collectors produce 0.503 million metric tons ofhydrogen from 4.527 million kilo-liters of desalted sea water. This hydrogen displaces 32,280barrels of oil consumption per day. An added 128 square kilometers of collectors produce 2.81million metric tons of hydrogen from 25.3 million kilo-liters of water to displace all natural gasuse.

Primary Hydrogen Production
Production Rate: 58 square kilometers per year collector production from our production plantprovides 232 square kilometers within five years.
Electricity Sales: At $0.07 per kWh the electrical generation will cost $2.94 B per year.
Hydrogen Gas Sales: At $2.22 per GJ for hydrogen (the same price as coal) provides another$1.05 B per year.
Synfuel Sales: At $84 per barrel oil equivalent provides $2.36 B per year.
