PreK-4 art lessons

During their weekly theme of "Art All Around Us," our PreK-4 students learned about still life art. They looked at and discussed examples

from famous painters. Students were able to become the artist by creating a still life piece of their own.

First, they looked at a bouquet of flowers on a table. Next, they designed their drawing with pencil and finally added watercolor paint. What

amazing artists we have here at St. Pius X Catholic School!

Our Kindergarten students learned about Abraham Lincoln this week and created his log cabin, complete with a picture of him (penny) in the window!

Our Second graders always begin their day with a little brain–teaser morning work. Today’s challenges include:

How did you do with our second grade challenge?

Reenrollment time began on February 1st

It’s reenrollment time for the 2019-2020 school year; families can reenroll and set up their payment plans. You received an email from Jane Zarate inviting you to reenroll. All families will go through RenWeb’s Online Enrollment, and you will complete a FACTS payment plan as a part of that process. If you are having difficulty reenrolling, please contact Cathy Brown for assistance. We will not automatically roll over families from the previous year; you are required to set up new payment plan each year. Your $175 fees & $40 PTC dues will be withdrawn via FACTS, you will receive a confirmation email from FACTS before any fees are withdrawn. Information about signing up for FACTS and frequently asked questions can be found on the school website: http://school.stpiusxsa.org/reenrollment-1 Enrollment opened up to the community on February 14th, don’t lose your child’s spot for 19-20! Once we fill a class, we will begin a waiting list for a second class.
