1. I N T R O D U C T I O N

Saudi Duct Factory established in 1998 as an independent and a 100% Saudi owned

Company has commenced its manufacturing activities in Riyadh, where the

company’s main production units and Head Office are based strategically.

The Factory provides products and services that meet specific standards in full

compliance with all the relevant requirements of heating, ventilating and air

conditioning industry. We have installed the latest fully automated equipment and

computer-controlled production machinery to provide the highest levels of customer

service and ensures high quality products.

Our main objective is to be among the leader in the manufacturing sector and possibly

keep one step ahead in leading the field while building alliance with the members of

construction industry on their business solutions for the satisfaction of individual

Client specific requirements. SDF Management always believes in the wisdom of

continuously adapting our products and services to the needs of our customers.

In the process of insuring that our products meet the highest quality standards,

performance and reliability we likewise acquire fully qualified and experienced

Engineers in the area of ductwork design, manufacture and installation for heating,

ventilating and air conditioning systems.

As we intend to actively pursue our business objective, whenever there has been a

perceived changes in the market for technological advancement resulting from

fundamental alterations to the industry specifications, the opportunity has been taken

to improve productivity and enhance manufacturing capability of the Factory.

In order to demonstrate the Factory’s commitment to the provision of quality products

and services, the Board of Directors has established Quality Management procedures,

which will comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 latest revision that

promotes adoption of process approach towards Customer satisfaction.

The concepts and principles of the quality system that are being described in the

Quality Manual shall undergo constant review by the Management to ensure its

continued suitability and conformance with the international standards as we can not

compromise the satisfaction of individual Client specifications.

A. Materials: Rectangular ducts can be supplied in following materials

fabricates single wall and double wall ducts & fitting ll ducts and fittings are supplied with factory applied sealant on all longitudinal and transverse joints for all flanged end ducts & fittings.

Where no specific duct pressure class designations are provided, all duct and fittings shall be constructed as per SMACNA’s duct construction Standards 500Pa. (+2in. W.G.) shown in the following table.

All straight ducts are beaded or cross broken (except if duct is double wall, internally lined, negative pressure, Ga. 18 ducts, and 4”w.g. or above) and fittings are cross broken from size 483mm and above.

Longitudinal connections, intermediate reinforcement and transverse connections shall be in accordance with SMACNA standards 1995, latest edition.

The double wall rectangular ducts and fittings are constructed of solid metal outer wall and perforated inner wall, with a layer of effective sound insulation between. The outer wall is solid metal sheet and can be galvanized or any other metal. The inner wall is perforated and can be galvanized sheet or any other metal. The insulation layer between the two layers is a standard acoustic thermal insulation with smooth black glass tissue (BGT). Thickness of insulation can vary according to customers’ requirements (usual thickness 25-50mm, density 24-48 kg/cubic meter)

The production range of Saudi Duct Factory circulal spiral ducts and fittings complyFully with H.V.A.C. DW/142 and S.M.A.C.N.A. specification for ventilation and airconditioning installations.

These ducts are suitable for low, medium, and high pressure installations. The following tables illustrate:-

1.Saudi Duct Range

The manufacturing tolerances and size range for internationally agreed ISO R 28 diameters.These sizes offer the designer a geometric progression Of duct volumes across the range from 75-2500mm diameters.The HVAC Recommended stiffening requirements are also included.

2.Saudi Duct Fittings

The factory produces wide range of duct fittings matching the range of spiral pipes.

3.Industrial range

We produce also a wide range of diameters to satisy the occasional design requirements for intermediate sizes in different ventilation fields.

The product range is available in stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized, and cold rolled mild steel.
