• Encourage and allow engagement from staff beyond director level
• Enable RLUK members to collaborate with each other more effectively on projects and bids
• Make communications a truly two-way process• Capture and mine the front-line developments
and new expertise in research libraries about everything from the Google Generation to e-books
What to achieve for RLUK Officers?
• Developing future strategy and support to more closely accommodate emerging member needs
• Broaden and deepen knowledge of staff expertise in member libraries, founded on a concrete evidence base
• Freeing up the Executive to work both more strategically and incisively for and on behalf of the Membership
• Currency and immediacy of information for RLUK members
• “Access anywhere” repository of documentation
