Officer in Charge – Navy Security Force Monterey Nov 2011 - Present United States Navy Reserves, Monterey, CACurrently assigned as Officer in Charge of Navy Reserve Security Forces at Navy Support Activity Monterey Postgraduate School. Responsible for a 32-person unit that provides force protection and law enforcement operational support to Navy Activity Monterey. Responsible for training, Readiness and manning of the entire unit and the execution of its mission.
Chief Master at Arms hand selected for 1 of 16 Nationwide Security Limited Duty Officers Commission.
Raised unit’s qualification and readiness level from 25% to 98% within first year of assignment.
Raised the unit from #11 out of 11 units in the region to #3 out of 11. Responsible for bring the units Operational Support up from 0 operational support to over 1000 man-days per year.
Hand Selected as the Force Protection Officer for the 200th Commemoration of the War of 1812, overseeing Force Protection Operations for 16 U.S. and Foreign Vessels visits to 11 different U.S. Civilian Ports of Call.
