New Millennium School - DPS Kingdom of Bahrain

Grade VI to X: Written assessment for Islamic will be conducted on Wednesday,

We are organizing an Intra School Art Competition on Saturday, 15th October 2016 from

9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Please find below the details of the same.

Categories :

5 years to 8 years – Free Drawing

9 years to 12 years – On the spot

13 years to 18 years – On the spot

Use of Colour pencil, Pastel colour etc. Water colour is not allowed. Paper will be provided

by the school.

Judging : Creativity, Colour combination , overall drawing and colouring.

This Art competition will be considered as a screening for Spectra 2016.

This is to convey that the Embassy of India in association with the Bahrain Authority for

Tourism and Exhibitions will be organizing a photographic exhibition on “Life of

Mahatma Gandhi” beginning 2nd October, 2016, coinciding with the birth anniversary of

Mahatma Gandhi, at the Bahrain Exhibition Centre.

The Exhibition is a collection of some characteristic photographs of Mahatma Gandhi

prepared by the Gandhi Museum in New Delhi. These pictures show some of the

principal and significant facets of his life and activities - a unique reference from his

childhood, his studies in England, his activities in South Africa, and India’s Freedom

Movement.

The exhibition is from 2nd to 4th October 2016 from 10 am - 1pm and 4pm - 8pm, entry

for which is free.
