Industrial Employment

Collected via combination of Current Employment Statistics (CES) and Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW)

Includes all non-agricultural payroll employment

Occupational Employment

Collected via the Occupational Employment Statistics survey (OES), a sample of employers used to develop staffing patterns across all industries

Includes all non-agricultural payroll employment PLUS the self-employed and unpaid family workers

- Three of the four counties in this region will outpace the State’s growth of 10.1%

- Employment in Professional and Business Services will increase by 16.9% while adding 27,000 new jobs
