1. Stand by / Closed modeNo illumination in the outer lozenge ring
2. Unlocking the child lockPress the lock icon for 1 second with 7NM to deactivate child-lock mode.In the process the LED will flash in red colour
3. Child lock unlockedAfter deactivating child-lock the LED will permanently light up in red
4. Activation of the water flowPress and hold the lower Grohe Red icon to get boiling water. Remove your finger to stop the water flow immediately
5. DeactivationThe child lock is automatically activated again when the Grohe Red function is not used for 5 seconds

5. Pot filler unlockedAfter unlocking the pot filler function the LED will permanently light up in yellow
6. Activation of pot filler Now briefly press the lower GROHE Red button to activate the pot filler for 1 minute (~ 3l boiling water)

During absence from home the boiler can be set to holiday mode via a switch on the front to reduce the energy consumption. Max. water temperature is reduced to 60°C.
