The CIP media currently widely used has the following four categories.

Automatic CIP and SIP are the best methods in current cleaning systems. They ensure safety and efficiency, prevent product contamination, and minimize re-contamination of the process. However, their complex formulation and process conditions can quickly reach the performance limit of the seal, causing serious damage, especially in the load and high temperature conditions, high temperature steam in SIP will increase the damage.

Static sealing solutionStatic sealing means that the seal and the contact hardware do not move relative to each other and remain static at all times. They are often used for sealing flanges, containers, pipes, etc., and are less demanding in general applications than in dynamic sealing, but in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Intricate media and hygienic design requirements that are clean or easy to clean require careful selection of materials and designs for static seals. O-rings

Jointless vulcanization large size O-ringsFor static seals, O-rings are the most common seals and are widely used because of their simple construction, low cost, and ease of installation. XLONG SEAL are available in O-rings of any size and standard, such as AS568, ISO3601, GB3452, etc., and are available in custom-made non-standard O-rings.

We can produce large-size O-rings larger than 500mm in diameter with special processes. The size can be non-standard products, which can save mold costs and is very economical. Compared with the general vulcanization and splicing ratio, there is no vulcanization and gluing interface, which avoids the problem that the joint is weak, which can ensure good dimensional accuracy and surface quality.

FEP/PFA encapsulated O-ringsFEP/PFA coated O-rings are a good choice when chemical media compatibility is high because it has two main characteristics: Very high resistance to a wide range of media while maintaining good flexibility . Compared to static seals, dynamic seals are much more demanding and have many influencing factors, including motion patterns, line speeds, media, pressure, and hardware. There are many types of dynamic seals for different applications. We are roughly divided into dynamic seal linear motion and dynamic seal rotary motion.

Quad-ring(X-ring)The Quad-ring,also known as the X-ring, has four sealing lips, which can be used for double-sided sealing. Compared with the O-ring, it is not easy to twist, extrude, and has high friction. It has good interchangeability with the AS 568A standard groove O-ring during reciprocating and rotary motion.

PTFE is one of the thermoplastics and has no elasticity. In order to ensure good contact with the contact surface, the seal must be equipped with elastic elements. The elastic elements can be rubber O-rings or metal springs. Choose different sealing forms according to different working conditions

KRG and KPG combination seals are one of the most common forms of PTFE seals. They have a good sealing effect in piston and rod applications. They are suitable for dynamic linearity, especially for moving speeds. Fast, high frequency, and poorly lubricated environment, even if it is started after standing for a long time, there is no creeping phenomenon.

In food and beverage as well as pharmaceuticals, aseptic production requires a high degree of sealing. Spring energized lip seal is widely used due to their excellent performance, especial ly in some f i l l ing workshops where cleaning, disinfection and hygienic design are very demanding. . Unaffected by corrosive system media and cleaning media, life in dynamic applications is effectively extended.

Spring energized lip seal is a high-performance seal with a special metal spring embedded in a material such as PTFE. The proper spring force plus the system fluid pressure presses the seal lip against the metal surface to produce a very good sealing effect. The elastic compensation provided by the spring overcomes the slight eccentricity of the metal mating surface and the wear of the sealing lip while maintaining the desired sealing performance.

Rotating shaft seals break through the limitations of elastomeric radial seals, using advanced materials and design techniques to provide optimum sealing for each application while maintaining a compact seal. Work in rotary motion is very effective. The coefficient of friction is small, and even if it is started after a long period of standing, there is no creep.

Rotary shaft seals are available in several different types and sizes, which are suitable for DIN and ISO standard groove sizes. The product consists essentially of two components, a precision-made metal housing and a high-performance plastic lip, or a high-performance plastic part and elastic element.
