to be the perfect fit for the needs of teachers and students,
and one of the best programs its implemented.
The school chose LiteracyPlanet to improve student literacy
skills and increase the level of engagement in learning.
Case Study
Very informative when focusing on
concept areas. The children enjoy
the tasks as they are like games
and it can be used on both a
computer and tablet.

I really enjoy the spelling activities
as they help me learn my words
and do well on the spelling test.
How the school uses LiteracyPlanet
to improve literacy outcomes
New English School’s (Kuwait) classes focused on
spelling and comprehension which was easily
implemented via LiteracyPlanet. The teachers could
assign a variety of spelling and comprehension
activities suited to each student’s literacy levels.
Primary School Teacher, Anna Awad said
that “LiteracyPlanet motivates the students to learn
in an interactive manner and they absolutely enjoy
Word Mania and the challenge it sets for them.”
Ahmed Mohammed, Student
at New English School (Kuwait)
LiteracyPlanet was used in many different ways.
Teachers use the teaching content throughout their
planning in order to heighten the level of interaction
with the children. Individual tasks are set using the
customised spelling feature. The students thoroughly
enjoy the range of activities available and an
improvement in their spelling is also evident. The
spelling activities are engaging and motivating for
students who struggle to retain their spelling words.

It makes it easy to set appropriate
tasks and it is very user-friendly.

LiteracyPlanet was easy to implement
LiteracyPlanet is enjoyed by the teachers as it is
simple to use and navigate around the site is
self-explanatory. It is also quick and easy when
you want a quick task or if a simple target area
needs to be addressed in literacy, there seem to
be activities that are easily accessible.
