    Definite and Indefinite Articles

    the denite article " THE" means, el, la, los, las, it can be used with a

    plural or singular noun.

    example:

    The bicycle is new.

    The house is near.

    The cars are expensive.

    The indefinite article is used only with singular nouns. A and AN, means

    un, una, uno, and A is used if a noun begins with a consonat.

    Example:

    a fish

    a dog

    a ruler

    a dictionary

    a fly

    An is used eight with a noun that begins with a vowel.

    Example:

    an airplane

    an egg

    an ice cream

    A noun that ends in "F" or "EF" we can change it into

    "ves".
