El orden usual de los adjetivos es el siguiente:

Adjetivos acabados en ing o en ed
Utilizamos adjetivos terminados en ing para indicar que alguien o algo es causante de la situacin a laque se refiere el adjetivo.
Utilizamos adjetivos terminados en ed para indicar que alguien o algo padece la situacin a la que serefiere el adjetivo.
Ejemplos:
Im interested in the new film. Estoy interesada en la nueva pelcula. The new film is interesting. La nueva pelcula es interesante. Bob was really boredyesterday. Bob estuvo ayer muy aburrido. Bob is boring. Bob es aburrido.
Cathy is really excited about her new job. Cathy est entusiasmada con su nuevo trabajo. Cathy thinks her new job is exciting. Cathy piensa que su nuevo trabajo es apasionante.
They were surprised to see you. Se sorprendieron de verte.

El comparativo se forma siempre del mismo modo cuando el adjetivo es monoslaboy cuandotiene dos slabasy termina en er y w. Sigue esta regla:
el comparativo se forma aadiendo el sufijo er ,
el superlativo se forma aadiendo the antes del adjetivo y el sufijo est long - longer - the longest (largo, ms largo, el ms largo) tall - taller - the tallest (alto, ms alto, el ms alto) happy- happier - the happiest (feliz, ms feliz, el ms feliz) quiet- quieter - the quietest (tranquilo, ms tranquilo, el ms tranquilo) narrow -narrower - the narrowest (estrecho, ms estrecho, el ms estrecho)
Excepciones: con real, right, wrong, se suele utilizar more: more real
Cambios:
cuando acaban en consonante + y, cambian la ypor i easy - easier - the easiest (fcil- ms fcil- el ms fcil)
cuando acaban en vocal+y, la y no cambia: grey - greyer- the greyest (gris, ms gris, el ms gris)
cuando acaban en consonante, la doblan: big - bigger- the biggest (grande, ms grande, el ms grande) hot- hotter- the hottest (caliente, ms caliente, el ms caliente)
Resto de adjetivos con dos slabas, con ms de dos:

good - better - the best (bueno, mejor, el mejor)
bad - worse - the worst (malo, peor, el peor)
little - less - the least (pequeo, menor) That game has the least rules of all.

much - more - the most (mucho)

fecto). Aunque tambin pueden utilizarse con otros tiempos.
since se usa para indicar el momento en que empez la accin en el pasado

Est viviendo en Sevilla desde abril.
for se utiliza para indicar la duracin del periodo de tiempo en el pasado
Hes (he has) been living in Sevilla for three years
Lleva viviendo en Sevilla tres aos.

Los dos significan ya en frases interrogativas, pero: utilizamos already cuando esperamos una respuesta afirmativa utilizamos yet cuando esperamos indistintamente una respuesta afirmativa o negativa.
Have you already finished? Ya habis acabado? -Esperamos que hayan acabado. Have you finished yet? Habis acabado ya? -No sabemos si han acabado o no.
