It is, for most, a time qvhen thqy send out their follow-ups to stations which did not reply on their original reports. NOW of course, this gets our goats - our time and postage' have gone by tho boards, and wo are a bit irritated. But how good we f e e l when we & get a verification from a previously delinquent station*! Now - how to get these de- linquent stations to verify for us? The b e s t - and only - way i s to send a friaridly, letter to those stations, and keep thm4 friandly all the way. If you shduld w6ite.a letter which would not f i t into a ~ c h a category, you inm.ediately cause that station to resent it, an9 also you endanger your chances of ever getting that verification which ia what you redly want, after all: Not on* tbt, but you mag ruin the ohan~e of any other DXer's ever getting a verificatiorl from that station too. Surely none of you would want to be caught writing such a fetter; for hediately. all your fellow DXera would remember you as the one who spoiZed their chances of getting a Gh-cok eted verifioation!
