EARNINGNetwork specialists usually work a regular 5-day, 40- hour week, but overtime may be required.Incomes for network specialists vary widely depending on education, experience, and position.Salaries for people in this fieldoften range from about $30,000to $80,000 a year. However, somesenior network specialists earnmore than $100,000 a year.

WORKING CONDITIONSComputer network specialists are employed by banks, governments, school boards, universities, hospitals, and any other organization.Network specialists usually work in office environments.They may work alone or with others.The job is not physically demanding, but it can be mentally stressful.
