Gold, beauty and power have all come
together at once, early civilizations equalize
gold with gods and rulers. In their name
gold was sought after, dedicating to their
glorification. The earliest of history of our
human interaction with gold is long lost
to us, but its association with the gods, with
immortality and with wealth itself are common
to many cultures throughout the world.
It’s hypnotic, timeless natural beauty and it’s
resistance to tarnish made it enjoyable to work
and play with. Humans almost intuitively place
a high value on gold, equating it with power,
beauty, and the cultural elite. And since gold is
widely distributed all over the globe, we find
this same thinking about gold throughout
ancient and modern civilizations everywhere.
And Isis said...
“I know that the soul is aided
Sometimes by the heart's unrest,
And to grow means often to suffer --
But whatever is--is best.”
Isis, the Egyptian goddess
of rebirth remains one of
the most familiar images of
empowered and utter femininity.
The goddess Isis was the first
daughter of Geb, god of the
Earth, and Nut, the goddess of
the Overarching Sky. Isis was
born on the first day between
the first years of creation,
and was adored by her human
followers.
Isis was called the Mother of Life, but she
was also known as the Crone of Death. Her
immense powers earned her the titles of
"The Giver of Life" and "Goddess of Magic".
Her best known story illustrates why she is
simultaneously known as a creation goddess
and a goddess of destruction.
The ancient Egyptian goddess has many gifts
to share with modern women. Isis embodies
the strengths of the feminine, the capacity
to feel deeply about relationships, the act of
creation, and the source of sustenance and
protection.
At times Isis could be a clever
trickster empowered by her
feminine wiles rather than her
logic or brute strength, but it is
also the goddess Isis who shows
us how we can use our personal
gifts to create the life we desire
rather than simply opposing that
which we do not like.
"Isis, is the one that came from
the mountain in the midday of
summer, the dusty maiden; her
eyes full of tears and heart full
of sighs"
“Behold…I have come; thy weeping and prayer hath moved me to succor thee. I am She that
is the natural mother of all things, mistress and governess of all the elements, the initial
progeny of worlds, chief of the powers divine, queen of all
that are in the underworld, the principal of them that dwell in heaven, manifested alone and under One form of all
the gods and goddesses. At my will the planets of the sky, the
wholesome winds of the seas and the lamentable silences of hell
be disposed; my name, my divinity is adored throughout all the world, in divers manners, in
variable customs, and by many names."
Step into your power and make your decisions with courage.
Allow life to mirror the reflections of your actions back
to and make your assessments with honesty. To walk in the world as a collective being, whose actions, words and thoughts strengthen, bless and support the collective
human experience is a sacred path. All who embark upon it are supported eternally and without
judgement. We only see your intentions and are there to help you to gain a wider perspective so that you can walk through life
with more grace and ease. Do not fear your creative power. It is your
birthright.
Allow yourself to learn. Allow
yourselves to be novices, to take the
journey back to remembering while
knowing that many mistakes will be
made along the way. Do not try and
avoid the pitfalls of your journey
by playing small and allowing the
wills of others order you around.
The responsibility for your journey
will always and forever be on your
shoulders no matter what external
circumstances or people might be
telling you.
It is important not to be afraid of power. You are not expected to make perfectly correct decisions
at all times to be given your power back. In fact no one ever took it away from you. You chose to give up your power due to your own judgement about the decisions you made in the past. Power is a
great amplifier and when you make decisions you see their effects on the whole of humanity not just yourself. Many do not want this
mirror. They cut away their power supply in order to avoid failure
and mistakes. To be powerful requires you to be at peace with failure, destruction and shame.
To stand in your power means you will make decisions and create
situations in your life that aren't always pleasurable to you or to
those around you.
The mistakes of your past have been
forgiven. The Universal Journey
knows where you are headed and
only sees your destination. The
Mother knows your heart and She
knows how easy it is to drown in
these stormy waters of life. She still
sees you as you are, not the ions
of belief systems that you have hid
yourselves under. Fear not, there is
no punishment. You no longer have
to hide your true power, ashamed
of the mistakes of your past.
I am Isis, Queen of Life-Force
energy, comfortable in my power
at ease with the magnificence of
my being. I ask that you step into
your own glorious light and
shine it upon the world once
more. You are regal, graceful and
infinite. Carry yourselves with
pride and know that you are
loved.
