PROGRAM ObJECTIVEThe objective of this conference is to convey an understanding of current legal issues affecting breeding, buying, selling, ownership interests, racing and other business opera-tions of the horse industry. The program is designed for attorneys who counsel, represent or litigate on behalf of buyers, sellers, breeders, brokers, owners of interests in horses, and other entities involved with the industry. This conference is open to the public. Individuals with experience in the horse industry will find the sessions useful and informative. leVel oF InsTRucTIon: Intermediate to advanced. suGGesTed PReReQuIsITe: substantial interest, experience or practice in subject area.

CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION CREDITThis conference is structured to provide continuing legal education credits for lawyers licensed in states which require specific hours of instruction each year. The conference is now or will be qualified for cle credits in all mandatory states. The Kentucky continuing le-gal education commission should approve the conference for 12.75 credit hours including 1 hour of ethics, as should other “60 minute” states. states measuring credits in 50 minute increments should approve the conference for 15.4 credit hours including 1 hour of ethics.

CONFERENCE LOCATION & ACCOMMODATIONSThe conference itself will be held at the historic keeneland Racecourse Sales Pavilion in the bluegrass region of Kentucky, located at 4201 Versailles Road in lexington, Kentucky. Cancellation charges: Full refund up to and through April 7; $100.00 cancellation charge from April 8 to April 21; and no refund after April 21. Registrations are transferable and substitution of registrants may be made any time before the seminar begins. If conference materials are desired, they will be mailed after the program and the cost of the conference materials will be deducted from any refund.
