I have been in education for the past 15 years, spending 9 years in the classroom setting and 6 years in instructional technology. I love working in a county that has embraced and emphasized the integration of 21st Century Skills with our students. Martha Johnson, a long-time DEN member, has just taken on two new jobs. One is the principal of Lumina Academy, a non-profit organization and distance learning school that will provide quality education to children in needy countries. http://luminaacademy.org/She is also starting a new position as the Instructional Technology Specialist at West Brunswick High School. And she still finds time to walk the beaches with her husband searching for unusual shells.
