AMENDMENTS TO THE RULES OF PROCEDURE AND CONDUCT

OF BUSINESS IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY, 2007

224. MR. SHER AKBAR KHAN to seek leave under sub-rule (4) of rule 293 of the Rules of

Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007, to move the following

amendments:-

Amendment in Rule 61 of the Rules of Procedure.- that in the Rules of Procedure and

Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007, in rule 61, for the full stop at the end, a

colon shall be substituted and thereafter, the following proviso shall be added, namely:

“Provided that days allotted for discussion of the Presidential address shall not exceed more than

ten working days in any case.”

Amendment in Rule 91 of the Rules of Procedure.- In the said Rules, in rule 91, for the word

“one” the word “two” shall be substituted.

225. MR. SHER AKBAR KHAN to move under sub-rule (5) of rule 293 of the Rules of

Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007, that the proposed amendments be

taken into consideration.

226. MR. SHER AKBAR KHAN to move that the proposed amendments in the Rules of
