PINES CITY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL Palma St., Baguio City NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE SCHOOL- BASED CELEBRATION OF THE 2015 NATIONAL ATTENTION DEFICIT/ HYPERACTIVE DISORDER (AD/HD) AWARENESS WEEK I. RATIONALE By virtue of DepEd Memorandum No. 109 s. 2015, DepEd joins the celebration of the 2015 National AD/HD Awareness Week from October 18 to 24, 2015 pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 472, declaring the third week of October every year thereafter as National AD/HD Awareness Week. The theme this year is AD/HD: A Major Hidden Disability (Alamin, Tanggapin at Mahalin). It is in this regard that the proponent would want to propose the conduct of a school- based celebration of said activity in order to intensify the advocacy for awareness and protection for children with special needs. I. RATIONALE
