Mr. Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy (N.R Narayana Murthy)is the Chairman of the Boardand Chief Mentor of Infosys TechnologiesLimited.

He was born on August 20, 1946 in MysoreKarnataka, India.

He obtained his B.E. degree from University of Mysore in 1967 and M.Tech. from IIT, Kanpur

in 1969.
