The main objectives of the research group are to:

Develop mesoporous silica nanoparticle (MSN) based nanoformulations suitable for a broad range of cargo, e.g. drugs/biomolecules/imaging agents/sensor dyes…

Synthesize multifunctional composite nanostructures for improved bio-visibility (detectability in biological systems) and theranostic activity

Evaluate the potential and applicability of the developed nanomedical agents for in vitro and in vivo drug delivery and biomedical imaging together with our cross-disciplinary collaborators
