Joyce Henderson '60 (an only child of Floyd and

ries of her and her family. We lost contact with her

after leaving home in the 60's and started looking for

her about 6-7 years ago.

From what we can gather, Joyce developed Pancreatic

Roscioli, Robert A Class of 1960

(7/26/42-7/27/20)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of

the legendary Robert "Bob" Roscioli. Mr. Roscioli has been

an icon of the marine industry and is globally respected for

personal attention to details and outstanding service to

the yachting industry at Roscioli Yachting Center.

Bob built his business and made his mark as a pioneer in

the South Florida marine industry when he started a busi-

ness from nothing, using his master paint brushing skills

and gained a reputation as a perfectionist. He then

launched what is now a world-renowned, state-of-the-art,

full service shipyard. In the late 1980's, he started Ro-

scioli Donzi Yachts, building custom sport fishing yachts

which was a passion of his.

Bob's mantra "Today's the Day" is the way he started

every day at the yard. He could be seen walking the ship-

yard every morning, preparing for the day ahead. A true

friend to first responders and veterans, Bob was an advo-

cate of providing jobs and teaching those who have served

or needed a chance. A true legacy to the marine industry.

Mr. Roscioli leaves behind Sharon, his loving wife of 51

years, his son Robert (Traci), his daughter, Heather

(Brian),and three granddaughters, Grace, Hannah and Ra-

chel. Bob will be deeply missed by his employees, innumer-

able colleagues in the yachting industry, many of whom he men-

tored, and the yacht owners who have depended on him for his

loyal service.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and out of respect to the

wellbeing of Robert's family and visitors, services will be held

at the convenience of the family. It can be a great comfort to

a grieving person or family to hear that others thought highly

of their loved one too. If you knew and admired Bob, be sure

to let the family know by writing a few words in the "Memory"

section of his obituary on the Kraeer - Fairchild Funeral Home

website.

Valasky Philhower, Mary Faculty

(1920 - 2016)

It is with a sad heart that we must report that our

friend (and former Chemistry Teacher) died on July

6, 2016. She was strong until the last year, when she

developed weakness, thus leading to staying in bed

almost all day, not eating properly, etcetera.

We were fortunate enough to get a last visit in when

we were down there in May. She was living at her

nephew's home.

No service or burial was done, per Mary's request.

Please remember her in your prayers and know that

she is finally at a place she desired. Alert until the

end, her body just gave out, due to her age. We feel

fortunate we had her with us as long as we did. Each

trip to Florida always included a side excursion over

to Bradenton for a visit.

I do not have many SHS "Reunion" Group names, so if

you know of someone who knew Mary, please pass this

message forward.

Until we meet again~ Pat Craig (Class of 1959)
