History & Philosophy

In 2002, the company started as UTC in the water treatment industry targeting the Domestic sector and small commercial Business. The company was the first to ex-port the first bulk shipment of the reverse osmosis domestic filtration system to Kuwait. In 2004, the company decided to expand more by providing water solutions for the domestic and commercial sectors by providing service contracts to our cli-ents. By the 2008, the company had over 18,000 clients in the domestic sector. In the same year the Company changed its name to AlNajdain water Treatment Com-pany and developed its scope to include big Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plants in its specialization supplying private Farms, poultry firms, food firms and agricultural firms. In 2011, we supplied the first Industrial wastewater treatment plant to a newspaper. In addition to that we became a main supplier of water treatment chemicals in Kuwait, supplying the HVAC industry, swimming pools and Reverse Osmosis plant chemicals.

Today, AlNajdain is a major provider of water treatment solutions for all types of indus-tries. Also, we are authorized agents for several vital franchises in the water treatment industry which made us a key vendor for the Kuwaiti market.

Our objective is to provide our clients with the best quality of water. We emphasis on the aftersales services as it is the most important aspect in the industry that usually the vendors neglect.

Softeners

Al-Najdain has become professionals in manufacturing softeners industrial or

Domestic. The softeners are manufactured and assembled by Al-Najdain abiding

worldwide standards. All of the assembled parts in the softeners are either Euro-

pean made or US made. The main function of a softener is to remove the hard-

ness found the water and stop hardness ions from forming soap scum. There are

multiple ions that causes hardness but usually calcium and magnesium are the

most common ions. The softener contains a resin which exchanges the Hardness

causing ions by sodium through a sorption process.
