Message from the Principal…
Dear Parents
A few weeks ago I mentioned the Tell Them From Me parent survey. This survey is one way for us to get your
perspectives on your child’s experience at school. This includes things like communication between
parents/carers and staff, activities and practices at home and parent/carer views on the school's support of
learning and behaviour. This valuable feedback will help our school make practical improvements. The survey is
completely anonymous. Unfortunately to date only 2 surveys have been completed.
The survey can be completed on a phone, tablet or computer. To access the survey for our school go to:
https://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/r522q To assist parents in completing the surveys, some of our SRC leaders
will be in the playground with school iPads over the next two weeks for parents to use to complete the surveys.
Please take advantage of using one of these school devices when you drop off, or pick up your children. The
survey will take less than 15 minutes to complete. Thank you for your support with this. We really value your
input.
We are now beginning to make plans for the 2019 school year. At the moment our focus is on our Kindergarten
enrolments. We have close links with our preschools and the children attending our local preschools have already
commenced their visits to ‘big school’. If you are aware of any children in the area who may not attend local
preschools, but may have someone of school age for 2019, please ask them to come in to the school office so
they can be included in the transition visits and orientation.
Have a great week
