Mobile Market Resilience• Expand Mobile Market Model-Hunger is both more common and problematic in

households with children. The USDA reports that households with children are twice as likely to be food insecure as households without them, and households headed by women are three times as likely. Our Mobile Markets are focused on Head Start Programs.

• Assist with victims from Hurricane in Revere• Occasional Fire victims in community. (Ex Allston in 2013 when 56 families

displaced after 9-alarm fire-Brazilian immigrant Center)

Last year 95% of all the food our Programs distributed came from the Greater Boston Food Bank.

• They are located just around the block from us and it is efficient to pick-up our MEFAP and TEFAP with the donated produce items that we may need.  This efficiency allows us to do more in terms of our service deliveries in our pantries and mobile markets.

• There is an inherent vulnerability in food supply disruptions.
