National Organisation Overview

UK sport Established by Royal Charter in 1997, UK Sport is

responsible for investing around 100 million of

public funds each year from both the National

Lottery and the exchequer. This money is now

supplemented by the income from a private

sponsorship scheme named Team 2012'.

recreation. Their job is to run their sport or activity,

conditions under which it takes place.

Sports leaders UK Since it was founded in 1982, Sports Leaders UK

have typically delivered awards and qualifications

through formal curriculum - schools, colleges and

universities.

Sports coach UK Support and challenge our partners to improve their

coaching systems and grow their contribution to a

cohesive UK coaching system.
