My sister was born on January 23rd

, 2002. My

mother found out that she was expecting a girl

on the devastating day of September 11th

,

2001. She was named after my mom¶s first

bottle of perfume, Lauryn. Her full name is

Lauryn Elizabeth Hopkins. She was born 7

years after me. When she was born, she had jet black, thick hair. She still has thick hair but

the color changed to a brown. Lauryn has blue

eyes and is average height for her age. She

goes to East Albemarle Elementary School and

she is in the 4th

grade. This is her second year

being on the East Albemarle Bullpup Pounders

Jump Rope Team. She is following in my past

footsteps, by being on the jump rope team.

Lauryn says that she is going to go to Gray

Stone Day School like me.

She loves riding her bike up and down our

street with the other kids her age that also live

on the same street. She and my dad LOVE

watching WWE and Raw together on Monday

nights. Her best subject in school is reading

and she hates math. She also likes to jam out

to Justin Bieber, in my car unfortunately.

Lauryn can be pretty hilarious and we like to

hang out with each other. She may be a brat

sometimes but I still love her with all of my

heart.

in a chaotic world simply by

being there for each other.µ

My Parents

My parents first met each other when they

were both working at a company called

Roses. My dad now works at the city of

Albemarle in customer services, and he has

been there for 15 years. My mom now

works at The Albemarle District Office

(head office for all Methodist churches in

the district) as the secretary. My dad

graduated from Albemarle High School in

1983 and graduated from Pfeiffer

University in 1987. My mom graduated

from North Stanly in 1985 and went to

college for a year and hated it. My dad¶s

full name is Scott Darren Hopkins and he

has 2 older brothers. He has short black

hair, blue eyes and is average height. He

loves to watch sports and WWE/Raw with

my sister. His dad worked on everything

(juke boxes, arcade games, etc.) and hismom used to have a daycare service in their

house and she loves to knit. My mom¶s

full name, before married, was Kimberly

Ann Frey and she has 2 older sisters and 3

older brothers. She has short brown hair,

blue eyes and she is short. She loves to

read and walk the dogs. Her dad was the

chief of police of Albemarle, and her mom

was a stay-at-home mom. I love my parents so much and I have no idea what I

would do without them!
