MY BLOGGER AND BLOGGER TIPS September, 2014 Who am I?? When someone ask me who am I, I can’t help but smile. As I am an energetic Engineer, techno-geek, socio bee, graphics designer, videographer, photographer, web developer, creative, fast learner and a tech savvy Blogger. There’s a learning curve when it comes to blogging. I don’t like bragging, but I have to say I’m a pretty good blogger. It’s not because I am smart or anything like that, it’s actually because I screwed up one too many times. After starting four blogs and making hundreds of mistakes over four years, eventually you are bound to figure out what to do and what not to do. Last year I had published HOW TO EARN $500 MONTHLY AND BE A RICH DUDE ?? Hope you enjoy it, and doing well at blogging. Blogging = survival of the fittest. It’s seriously a jungle out there, and for newly hatched blogs, it’s even harder to survive. But, there are a number of things you can do right away as a “hatchling” to immediately gain ground “in the wild” and transform yourself from a newbie, to what may seem like a seasoned pro. I just wish someone told me all of this before I started my first blog. Here are few things you should know before starting your first blog: You need to be social Consistency is the key to growth What goes online, stays online It’s easy to get new traffic, but hard to retain it Strike while the iron is hot Design is marketing People matter A Professional Looking Domain Name Skip the Unnecessary Plugins and Widgets Do Not Add an RSS Counter Get ideas from your audience Understand your audience Write for yourself first Love your existing readers Write catchy headlines Give stuff away Give away your knowledge Write Like You Talk
