MX-Contact Information Sheet MX-Contact for Attorneys

1 Introduction

The purpose of this document is to give an overview of the functionality available for version of

MX-Contact designed for Attorneys.

The Attorneys ‘module’ adds the following functionality to the Base System of MX-Contact:

Modified Company Form

Modified Contacts Form

Cases

Enhanced E-Mail Handling

Enhanced Document Handling

2 Companies (Modified)

The standard MX-Contact Companies folder has been modified in order to record information

relating to an attorney environment.

2.1 Companies Folder

2.2 Companies Form - General Tab

The General tab consists of a number of fields recording information such as Company

Name, Address, Phone Number etc.




2.3 Companies Form - Profile Tab

The Profile tab consists of a number of fields recording information such as Legal/

Commercial Name, Company Registration Number, Industry etc.




3 Contacts (Modified)

The standard MX-Contact Contacts folder has been modified in order to record information

relating to the Legal Industry.

3.1 Contacts Folder

3.2 Contacts Form - General Tab

The General tab consists of a number of fields recording information such as Contact

Name, Address, E-mail etc.




3.3 Contacts Form - Profile Tab

The Profile tab consists of a number of fields recording information such as Birthday,

Marital Status, Interests etc.




3.4 Cases

A custom folder has been added to record Case details. This folder allows you to collect

and report on a variety of information relating to a case, such as case number,

description, etc.

The General tab consists of a number of fields recording information such as case,

description, type etc.




3.7 Cases Form – Details Tab

The Details tab consists of a number of fields recording information such as expected

fees, rating, probabilty etc.




3.8 Cases Form – Staff Roles Tab

The Staff Roles tab consists of a number of fields recording the role of each staff member

associated with the case.

4 Associations

The Association folders are used to record information about the relationships between entities

such as Cases, Companies and Contacts etc.
