Mark Mappa is Founder, President, and Managing Principal at Mappa Wealth Management. He has over 27 years of experience in financial plan-ning and wealth management. Mark specializes in developing long term fi-nancial plans to assist individuals and families in meeting their lifelong finan-

cial goals and objectives. Mark also specializes in retirement distribution planning by helping clients manage their assets and income needs during their retirement years.

As an independent financial advisor, Mark is able to provide objective advice that is tailored to meet each client’s specific and individualized situation. Everyone’s situation is different and Mark understands that everyone will need a different strategy to meet their goals.

Mark’s years of experience as an independent advisor has led to a philosophy and perspective about financial planning that he incorporates in the strategies he develops for each of his clients. Mark and his wife Rachel have three children, Zackary (attending Purdue University), Tanner (attending Stevenson High School), and Sophie (who is 9 years old). Mark enjoys reading books on financial topics. He also enjoys sports, corvettes, vacationing, and spending time and swimming at their Florida home.

Steve Wilhusen, Principal, ChFC, CLU

Steve Wilhusen is a financial advisor with over 17 years experience. As an independent financial professional, he provides advice that is objective and in his clients’ best interests. He helps individuals, families and business owners define and meet their lifelong financial goals.

Steve does this through a philosophy of independent advice, highly personal service and a com-mitment to ethical practices. His skills and experience include developing and implementing sav-ings, investment and insurance planning as well as retirement distribution strategies. Steve is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) as well as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He frequently gives educational seminars on financial planning. He graduated from Truman State University in 2000 with degrees in Finance and Management and he minored in Eco-nomics. He was a member of Blue Key honor and service fraternity and the University Soccer Team. Steve is a proud Bulldog owner and amateur chef, sports enthusiast, fitness and health geek, travel and adventure seeker.

Brett W. Gardiner, Financial Advisor

Brett Gardiner is an independent financial advisor whose goal is to help individuals, families and small business owners define and realize their fi-nancial dreams. Steven B. Tucker, Financial Advisor Steve Tucker has over 25-years helping clients define and reach their financial goals. He specializes in investment, income, insurance and estate planning and understands that an important aspect of his role is to listen carefully to his clients and then design a custom strategy that meets their level of comfort and helps them meet their objectives.

Steve helps his clients grow and protect their assets for use during their lifetimes through retire-ment, as well as creating a transition plan for the next generation or for charities. "My clients and I take special care to grow and protect their money. I want to help them make sure it is not dra-matically diminished by taxes, fees, or unforeseen healthcare costs." Steve has appeared on PBS television speaking on numerous estate planning topics including the importance of addressing the risk of a long-term care illness and the impact it may have on the estate. He is a frequent speaker for non-profit organizations. His articles on areas vital to estate planning have been published in several media formats, including the Peoria Journal Star News-paper, and Fondulac Senior Services Newspaper. Steve has been married for 22 years. He and Mary live in Champaign, IL with their two children. Their 15 year old son, Tyler, loves to play tennis, dive, and golf. He is a Freshman at Centennial High. Their 8 year old daughter, Allie, loves gymnastics, golf and swimming. Steve enjoys spend-ing time with his family, playing ice hockey, golfing, and traveling. Mary enjoys tennis, reading, golf, and taking trips with her family.

The financial landscape is changing and now, more than ever, we believe indepen-dence should be first on anyone’s list when looking to establish a relationship with a financial professional.

WHAT IS AN INDEPENDENT FIRM? Mappa Wealth Management is owned by the principals of the firm. We are not employ-ees of a large, “brand name” firm. We are under no obligation to represent or use specific financial products or instruments produced by any firm. We can provide financial tools to our clients from a broad array of national resources. That means we offer advice, based on your needs, with no inherent conflicts of interest. Advisors who are employed by some of the larger firms may be required to recommend products produced by their firm which may not always be the best fit for their clients.

RIGOROUS DUE DILIGENCE AND RESEARCH All of the financial resources, products and tools we present to clients are thoroughly re-searched by us and approved by the compliance department of our broker/dealer. In ad-dition, we make sure our clients are completely educated and understand any recommen-dations we may make. Our clients make informed decisions about their money.

A COMPREHENSIVE RELATIONSHIP AND STRUCTURED STRATEGY We believe we should be relationship oriented with it clients and not transaction driven. We take the time to understand not just your financial situation but also your values and vision for your future. A. Discovery Fee $750-$1,500. One time fee. B. Yearly planning fee $1,500-$2,500*

*This fee is reduced 50% with managed assets of $250,000. The fee is eliminated with managed assets over $500,000.

For clients with managed assets

A. Account Management**: .90% of assets up to $500,000 .85% of assets between $500,000-$1 million .75% of assets between $1-$2.5 million .65% of assets over $2.5 million

**This is the fee schedule paid to MWM. There may be other institutional costs depending on the overall strategy determined by you and your advisor.

Compensation for Insurance

As an independent company we are completely objective in our recommendations. We have access to major companies in the industry and can assist you in finding quality products to meet your objectives. There is no additional fee for this service. All product related compensation comes from commissions already built into the products themselves.

Advantages of the Planning Fee Only Service to clients.

1. The ability to work with MWM without having to give us your assets. In many cases a prospec-tive client may have their assets tied up in a company retirement account.

2. Many financial firms will not work with prospective clients who do not bring significant assets with them. We realize the need for people to have access to a financial professional just as if they were the advisors top clients.

3. Review your outside assets and guide you accordingly. 4. Offer you the same services and support as with our top clients. 5. Hold two scheduled meetings with you per year 6. Have two scheduled calls with you per year 7. Address your concerns and answer questions 8. Access to our client educational events 9. Receive our financial communications. 10. You deserve to have a financial professional work with you.

Our Fee For Services

Depending on one's individual situation, a fee based account may not be suitable for all investors. Speak with a Financial Advisor to determine the most appropriate financial account for you, given your financial circumstances. There is no guarantee a fee-based ac-count will outperform a commission based. Investing involves risk including the potential loss of principle.
